What is the cause of anxiety and worry?
Buddha teaches that the main cause of all the painful feelings we experience is within our mind. Through beginning to understand the causes of our anxiety and worry we will see that we can change our experience by changing our mind.
Over this 4 week course we will take time to explore the causes of these painful states and the meditations we can bring into our life to help us deal with them when they arise.
You will learn:
- What causes anxiety and worry.
- Meditations to begin to let go of these causes.
- Methods you can take into your daily life.
The teacher of this course will be Gen Kelsang Lhachog.
Gen Lhachog is the Resident Teacher at Uma Kadampa Meditation Centre. She has been studying, practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for over 20 years under the guidance of Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
