Do you wish you could take time out from the constant chatter in your head?  That you could start to choose what thoughts stay and which you let go of?

On this course we will explore some of Buddha’s teachings on how we do this.  Recognising where this constant chatter comes from and using timeless techniques to begin to reduce the busyness and create mental space.  We tend to think that our problems come from outside ourself, however, when we start to investigate we find that it is our perception of things that is giving rise to what we experience.  Gen Lhachog will guide us through some of Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s teachings from his book ‘How to Understand the Mind’.

Though this course you will:

  • identify the clouds of distractions in your mind.
  • have techniques to let go of mental busyness.
  • develop wisdom to change your mind.
