This time of year can be stressful or anxiety inducing, whether you are spending time with loved ones or time on your own. Â
At this half day course we will look at ways of thinking, taught in Kadampa Buddhism, that we can develop to help us to enjoy this time without feeling overwhelmed. Â
Often it is our expectation of the festive time that can cause a build up of unpleasant feelings. How can we let go of our expectations and still have a plan? How can we deal with unpleasant feelings as they arise without them building up and consuming us? How can we develop a good heart towards others when we find them challenging or when we will be on our own?
These questions and more are what we will look at on this course. There will also be time for some questions and discussion together.
*Christmas Party and Potluck Lunch* – after the course from 1 – 3.30 pm we invite you to join our end of year party. Bring something vegetarian to share. tea, coffee and soft drinks provided.
