Anxiety and fear are more and more common in our modern world. How can we find freedom from anxiety and fear?
We feel unable to control what is happening to us, and to our world.  However, this isn’t new, haven’t we always struggled to feel in control of our external situation?
Buddha teaches that the only thing we have power to control is our own mind. By beginning to transform our mind from negative states to positive states we begin to take control and experience a sense of calm and peace. Of course we still need to deal with the external situations, however, we don’t need the anxious, fearful states of mind that are so painful.
This practical course will explore how we can gain freedom from negative emotions such as fear and anxiety through meditation and the practical application of the timeless wisdom of Buddhism.
