Take some time out and enjoy the silence. Maybe it has been a busy, noisy festive time and now you would like to switch off a bit from the noise? This silent retreat will give you the opportunity to try being silent when in the company of others and as a result, enjoy the stillness that letting go of chatter and overthinking can bring.
In each session there will be a talk to help us understand our object of meditation. Then there will be plenty of time to absorb into a beautiful meditation called ‘inspiration’ from the Living Meditations series. In this meditation we will use our breath to focus on a Buddhist mantra ‘OM AH HUM’. Mixing this mantra with our breath helps us to purify our body, speech and mind and feel clearer and lighter by the end of the day.
