We have all heard of meditation and maybe even tried it in various forms. However, what is meditation? how does it function to lead us to a deeper experience of inner peace.
“Meditation is a mind that is single-pointedly focussed on a virtuous object and whose function is to make the mind calm and peaceful”
What is a virtuous object? What does it mean to be single-pointedly focussed?
These are the questions we will explore and look to gain some experience of in this day retreat.
This retreat is open to everyone, no previous experience is needed.
