We would all like to feel strong and confident. How can we do this?
This time of year is often about giving and receiving gifts.
Trying to find the right gift for others and also thinking about what we want.
In these classes we will learn about the Kadampa meditations on taking and giving. Methods that function to lead us to a deep inner stability and confidence, benefiting both ourselves and others.
Come along to one of our Workington meditation classes in December and find out more.
Resource: The New Eight Steps to Happiness & How to Transform Your Life
“The Kadampa Geshes used to pray to develop a mind that is as strong and stable as a blacksmith’s anvil, which does not break however hard it is struck. We need a strong and stable mind, one that is undisturbed by any hardship that life throws at us. With such a mind, we are like a hero or heroine, and nothing can interfere with our progress towards enlightenment.”

Gen Kelsang Lhachog has been practising and teaching Kadampa meditation for over 20 years. Originally from West Cumbria she has travelled extensively and is happy to be back on local ground. She shares Buddha’s teachings, as presented by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, with a lightness and clarity.
This class is held at Studio 2, The Carnegie Theatre, Finkle Street, Workington, CA14 2BD
