We all over think things, develop anxiety, stress, worry, get frustrated.
Buddha teaches that Problems arise only if we respond to difficulties with a negative state of mind. Therefore if we want to be free from problems, we must transform our mind.
Each week we will explore a section of Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso‘s book, How to Solve Our Human Problems, and meditate on positive states of mind.
This class is open to everyone and you can turn up any week.
You will learn:
- What is the inner cause of overthinking.
- How we can begin to reduce our busy and often negative states of mind.
- Methods you can use in daily life to help deal with overthinking.
The teacher of this course will be Gen Kelsang Lhachog.
Gen Lhachog is the Resident Teacher at Uma Kadampa Meditation Centre. She has been studying, practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for over 20 years under the guidance of Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
