• Day & Time

    Tuesdays, 7 – 8.15pm

  • Venue

The Quaker Meeting House, Meeting House Lane, Penrith

Normally we find it difficult to maintain a positive attitude and a sense of well-being when things go wrong.  However, difficult situations and difficult people can only make us unhappy if we respond to them with a negative state of mind.

Over this 4 week course we will look at how we can transform life’s difficulties into a peaceful mind and a good intention.

In this way we will be able to see all our daily challenges from a different perspective and instead of becoming frustrated or upset we will be able to maintain a light and positive outlook.

The teacher of this course will be Dave Stones

Dave has been a student of Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for over 30 years.  He has been practising, studying and teaching for many years.

  • What is the structure of the class?

Each class begins with a short introduction and a guided breathing meditation.  Then there is a short talk followed by a guided meditation based on the talk to develop a positive and beneficial outlook.  There will be time after the class for refreshments and discussion.
