ABOUT THIS COURSE

What does our death mean?

We often feel that death is like the elephant in the room, something we don’t talk about, but yet is the one thing that will definitely happen for all of us.

Buddha teaches that death is certain and that through recognising this truth we can benefit both ourself and others in preparing, so that we can be peaceful.

On this half day course Gen Lhachog will share from Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s book Living Meaningfully, Dying Joyfully and explain techniques we can all use in our daily life.

Resource: Living Meaningfully, Dying Joyfully

Come along and find out more.  No experience necessary.

Session 2 12 – 1 pm

“There is nothing more precious than our human life. Having been born as a human being we have immense freedom to accomplish almost anything we want. With so much freedom, we need to ask ourself what is the most meaningful way to use our life. What will make us truly happy? What will benefit others most? And when this life is over, what will help us then?”

~ From Living Meaningfully, Dying Joyfully by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
