Do you find yourself getting frustrated with yourself and others?
When this happens we can end up feeling that the only response is to become defensive, retaliate, blame others or harden our heart. However by reacting in these ways we don’t give ourselves the ability to see what is really happening.
Over these weeks we will explore how we can begin to transform our mind from non-acceptance to acceptance. Once we stop dwelling on unhappy thoughts and fighting with ourself and others we discover a deep inner calm and wisdom. By connecting with this experience we can begin to see things in a clearer and more beneficial way.
Come along to a one of our Thursday meditation classes in October and find out more.
Resource: How to Solve Our Human Problems
“We do not need to become unhappy just because things do not go our way. Although until now this has indeed been our reaction to difficulties, once we recognize that it does not work we are free to respond in a more realistic and constructive way.”

Gen Kelsang Lhachog has been practising and teaching Kadampa meditation for over 20 years. Originally from West Cumbria she has travelled extensively and is happy to be back on local ground. She shares Buddha’s teachings, as presented by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, with a lightness and clarity.
This class is held at our Centre, 16 – 18 Spencer St, Carlisle. CA1 1BG.
