Do you find yourself replaying a difficult situation over and over again?

This is quite a common habit that many of us have.  However if we check it doesn’t really help us or the situation.

In these classes we will explore why we do this and how we can begin to break this bad habit.

You will learn:

  • how to stop overthinking.
  • ways to look at the situation differently.
  • methods to create good habits leading to peace & calm.

The teacher of this course will be Gen Kelsang Lhachog.

Gen Lhachog is the Resident Teacher at Uma Kadampa Meditation Centre.  She has been studying, practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for over 20 years under the guidance of Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

  • What is the structure of the class?

Each class begins with a short introduction and a guided breathing meditation.  Then there is a short talk followed by a guided meditation based on the talk to develop a positive and beneficial outlook.  Finally there is 5-10 minutes to talk to others in the group about what we have looked at.  Also after the class there are refreshments for anyone who would like to stay and chat more.
