What is the mind? Where is the mind? How does the mind function?
Following on from our half day course, Understanding Your Mind, on this day retreat we will spend 3 sessions contemplating the location, nature and function of our own mind.
Through doing this we will begin to connect with the power of our mind to give rise to deep inner peace and calm.
In this way we will understand how we can stop fighting with the busy and often challenging thoughts and feelings that arise and learn to let them go.
The teacher of this course will be Gen Kelsang Lhachog.
Gen Lhachog is the Resident Teacher at Uma Kadampa Meditation Centre. She has been studying, practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for over 20 years under the guidance of Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
